Abstract: The raw materials for the study were petroleum naphthenic acids isolated from kerosene-gas oil fractions. The article provides physical and chemical data of the raw materials used. By reacting the corresponding acids with vinyl acetate in the presence of mercuric acetate and boron trifluoride etherate, methods of obtaining phenyl ethers of petroleum naphthene and some cyclic carboxylic acids have been developed. It has been shown that the synthesized unsaturated esters are very reactive compounds and can undergo hydrosilylation and diene condensation reactions to form new derivatives. Taking into account the above, researches in this direction were continued, in this study, methods of synthesis of saturated and unsaturated esters of petroleum naphthenic acids containing various functional groups were developed, their chemical transformations and antimicrobial modification properties were also studied. Acid chlorides of naphthenic acids of petroleum have been obtained, which are very reactive compounds and undergo strong acylation reactions. Butanediol and butynediol have been used as glycols. Also, by reacting naphthenic acid chlorides with triethylamine, ketones and ketone dimers were obtained in quantitative yield. Ketones, like reactive substances, form esters at the moment of formation in the presence of alcohols without having time to dimerize. The authors propose to use all new derivatives obtained and synthesized as corrosion inhibitors.
