The effect of a catalyst dispersion - beryllium oxide, on the processes of adsorption and radiolysis of water was studied using the method of diffuse-scattering IR spectroscopy. The dependence of the radiation-catalytic activity of water on the size of beryllium oxide, varying within 4≤d≤106 μm, was revealed. For these processes, the dimensions of the depth of the light-scattering layer are estimated. The role of surface stripes in revealing the dependence of the size effect is considered.en_US
